I'm still figuring out how to get nice creamy Polaroid frames with GIMP.
Yon can also see this image on /r/Polaroid.
The image on Reddit was acquired via the Polaroid app on a iPhone 7 and it was automatically enhanced (I have no way to prevent this behaviour), while this copy was scanned via a flatbed scanner1 and the white balance auto corrected.
