Today I tried playing curling at a free open day. I loved it.

It is one of those sports where you get good enough to have fun quickly.
I was together with a small group of people and an experienced player, acting as the instructor.
At the beginning we learned how to stay in balance while sliding on the ice. Then we tried to make the first shoots.
After an hour or so we were able to reach the house and to score the first points.
I'm lucky enough to live near 2 out of 7 places where it's possible to play curling in Italy.
20 years later I felt the olympic atmosphere.
It was a much-needed Sunday afternoon to take my mind off other things.
